A tree view is provided along the left window side of the Document record window that displays links to all information relevant to the Document record.

The Work Group link is used to set up security for the document for a specific group of users rather than by document type. |

The Category link is used to group documents by sub-type, such as New Product Docs or QA Manuals. Document categories are tied to a specific document type and then the category transfers to the documents within that type |

The References link is used to attach reference documents and/or SmartSolve system records to a Document record. |
|
The Attachments link is used to attach any number of external attachments to the Document record. |
|
The Distribution List link is used to identify a collection of organization units and actors that MUST receive copies of the document once the document becomes effective (CURRENT). |

The Revision Notes link is used to add revision notes to a Document record once a new revision is created. |
|
The Changes link is used to view change requests and/or change orders for the document. Change requests for the Document record can also be created from this link. |

The Document History link is used to view all revision information for a document. |
|
The Certification Information link is used to set up training requirements if a document requires employees to be trained. |
|
The Reviews link is used to perform reviews in the Document record in order to change document status. Reviews can be attached to the document record ad hoc by the document owner, or they can automatically be attached to the Document record when it is created by using a Document Review Model which is attached to the document type. |

The Attributes link is used to attach multiple entities to a document for traceability. |
|
The BOM link is used to determine the setup for the product’s end item structure. |
